Where were you??!!

Where were you January 21st....

5 years ago- Wow...ok let me think. 2004. I was working in the fashion industry selling buttons & trimmings to designers...had been there almost 4years & little did I know I would be back Kindergarten teaching by the middle of the year!!! Best decision ever (career wise!)

10 years ago- 1999. Had been married 4months!! so still newly weds adjusting to living together in our first home. Happy times :) Carefree....independant & dreaming of the future.

15 years ago- 1994. Yikes!! Ummm....Half way through my Bachelor of Early Childhood studies at Melbourne University. Having a ball with Uni friends, dating my future husband!! living at home with Mum, Dad & brother.

Where are you going?

5 years from now- 2013. Oldest daughter will be 8! in grade three at school. Youngest daugter will be six & in grade one at school. I will be missing them like crazy & wanting them at home with me again!!! I should have started teaching again....or working in a homewares shop??!! Hopefully something fun :)

10 years from now- 2019. Ok this is getting weird!!! I will be 44 years old.....my girls will be 13 & 11. Hopefully we will have paid our house off & loving life!! May have a trip around Australia & take a year off work/school as a family??!!

15 years from now- 2024. OK I will be 49 and that is a scary thought.....I hope my girls will be best friends with me, & each other. My husband & I will be enjoying new interests, hobbies & time spent on holidays exploring the world.

20 years from now- 2029. Who'd have thought I would be thinking about life as a 54 year old right now.....My girls will be 23 (the age I got married!!) & 21...so hopefully a big 21st party, lots of friends, family & fun times :)
