My Mother told me - always wear matching underwear in case you get hit by a bus!
Growing up my Mum (and Dad) always treated my brother and I equally. We had the same amount of money spent on us at Birthday's and Christmas....we were given equal amount of time and loved just the same. This is something I am trying to promote as my husband and I bring up our daughters.
My Mother also told me - to always start my name with a capital letter as I am important!
